The Indiana Fever begin a new era tonight with No. 1 overall WNBA draft pick Caitlin Clark. The NCAA's all-time leading scorer made her WNBA debut with the Fever on Sunday.

In her first regular season game, Clark scored her first WNBA basket against the Connecticut Sun. The Fever ultimately fell to the Sun, 81-73, but Clark's performance was a bright spot for the team.

The Sun were led by DeWanna Bonner, who had 22 points and 9 rebounds. Alyssa Thomas added 20 points and 10 rebounds for Connecticut.

The Fever were led by Victoria Vivians, who had 18 points. Clark finished with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in her debut.
